Kodawari is Japanese for “Pursuit of perfection”, “Yutaka” is “good harvest”. Koshi Yutaka Premium grade Japanese short grain rice is cultivated in Mekong Delta, the breadbasket region of Vietnam. We send off the Japanese rice seeds and cultivate under the supervision of experienced Japanese farmers. To guarantee the best quality, we produce the rice using Japanese machinery, maintained by Japanese technician. Koshi Yutaka is cultivated in the rich paddy fields using groundwanter from the Mekong River. Generally, we can harvest Japanese rice once a year, but the Mekong Delta is very rich in nature, so we can harvest three times a year and we can always deliver Koshi Yutaka rice.

HOW TO COOK SUSHI RICE (SERVES 2): 1) Put 250g rice into a bowl and wash with cold water. Repeat 3 or 4 times and then drain the rice with a sieve. 2) Add 330ml of water in the washed rice to a saucepan. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes with the lid on. 3) Turn off the heat and leave to stand for 25-30 minutes. Do not open the lid!
